Brady School Event

Last Saturday I participated in the 6th annual Brady School Gift Mart. It is ran by my old church, CCC. You can read more about it, and CCC, here.

Over 9500 toys were distributed, and there were lines going around the building, and down the block!

Vanessa E Christmas Concert

My wife, Vanessa and I had a Christmas concert last Sunday as well. It was right after her vocal student’s concert that Hannah was in. We played all the songs from her new CD, “Celebrate” You can learn more about it here.

She is awesomely talented, not only as a singer, songwriter, and performer, but she is a great teacher, too!

Hannah’s Concert

My daughter Hannah had her Pop Singer Concert last Sunday night. She sang a few cool songs, she did a great job!

Sarah’s Play

My daughter Sarah was in her first “Starring role” in a play. It was a “Holiday Wizard Of Oz” and she was Dorothy. She had several solo songs as well as being the main character. She did awesome!

James’ Christmas play

OK, so now that I shamed myself for being too busy this Christmas, I am going to tell you some of the things that have been keeping me so busy…..

This is my son, James, who was part of a wonderful play that his 3rd grade class did on Monday. He did a great job as a bear!

Like a blur……

Wow!!!! Every year I say that I will not allow the Christmas season to get out of hand, and every year I do anyway. Us Christians certainly know how to get busy every December! Of course, it’s all great stuff, you know, but….

Small Groups are rolling!

Small groups are really starting to gain momentum here at Waterfront. We hadn’t planned on starting our small group calendar until after the new year, but so many people wanted to connect that we decided to start early : )

David Herrick, our small groups pastor, started one that meets on Sunday right after service. They have childcare, and even have pizza! Many who have never even been in a small group before are now connecting and learning about God, others, and themselves!

And I started an Arts group that meets on Wednesday nights. We get together for a devotional time, followed by prayer, and then we jam! It has been great so far, and the group looks to at least double in size by the end of the year.
